Interview with a Friend and Fellow Writer

Since becoming an author, I have found myself enjoying many new opportunities—from a quick interview with the local newspaper to being on a podcast and participating in book festivals. Each experience has been exciting, but recently, I had a truly special opportunity that left me deeply honored.

Diana Kathryn Penn invited me to sit down for an interview, and I couldn't have been more grateful. She is an incredible writer and someone who truly understands the journey of an author; the excitement, the challenges, and the passion that keeps us going. Our conversation was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on my writing, discuss the stories that matter to me, and share insights into the publishing world.

Her questions were thought-provoking, making me pause and truly think about my answers. From being asked what five books I would save in the apocalypse to which of my characters deserves their own story, the discussion was both insightful and inspiring. But beyond that, it was also a new way to connect with readers and fellow writers.

Diana has often said that sharing our experiences helps build a stronger writing community, and I couldn't agree more. Although she was the one asking the questions, I found myself learning from her as well. She is someone I truly admire, not just for her talent but for her dedication to uplifting and supporting other writers. The writing community thrives on mutual support, and this interview was a perfect example of that—writers learning from each other, lifting each other up, and celebrating the creative process.

I'm so grateful for the chance to chat with Diana and to be featured on her platform. If you haven't already, check out the interview and explore more of her amazing work.

Thank you, Diana, for the thoughtful conversation and for all you do to support writers!
