About Author Donna Neumann

​My name is Donna Lee Neumann, and I reside in Clarkston, Michigan with my husband Chris . With a master's degree in elementary education and a minor in early childhood, I have spent over 20 years of my life teaching preschool and elementary students. Throughout the majority of my career, my focus has been  on Young 5's and Kindergarten. Recently celebrating my 50th birthday, I believe that my heart will always be at the age of five.

As a proud mother of three and grandmother of one, I cherish the moments I get to spend with my family. Although my children are adults and not present at home as frequently as I would like, I keep busy with my three cats, dog, and a diverse array of tropical fish.

When it comes to reading, my interests are limitless. From the enchanting world of Harry Potter to the intriguing back of a shampoo bottle, I find joy in exploring various literacy works. Another pastime, is engaging in a multitude of games, including video games on my Wii. Additionally, my love for travel has fueled a goal to visit all 50 states in the United States and I am thrilled to report that I have already experienced the wonders of 45 states. Five more to go!
