Cody's Final Semester

dneumann1972

Today, we officially signed Cody up for his final semester of college. I can hardly believe we’re already at this point in his journey! As I clicked through the registration forms, memories of our family traditions flooded my mind. From road trips to bedtime stories, those small, sweet moments have helped shape the incredible person Cody has become.

He’s always been strong and determined, and watching him navigate life with such grace and humor has been a joy. As a second-degree black belt, Cody’s discipline and resilience have inspired not just me, but everyone around him. His strength isn’t just physical; it’s emotional and mental as well. That’s one of the many reasons I was thrilled when he let me turn him into a character in my book—a martial artist, hearing-impaired porcupine. Because really, who wouldn’t want to be that? His character adds such a unique layer to Annie’s story, just as he does to my life.

Reflecting on this moment, I can’t help but feel proud and grateful to have Cody in my world. I’m excited to see where his next chapter leads and honored that we’ve shared so many meaningful chapters together.
